You can also use the articulating LCD of course.

work, they'll really have something. I strongly suspect they will do
just that.

Yes, I suspect that too. The market for still cameras is considerably larger, so Panasonic's first step was to add quality video to a still camera. Probably they will later use the same technology in a video camera that also takes excellent stills.
