Nissin Di 622 flash and ebay triggers
I ahve, among other models a Nissin Di622 flash for Nikon, in very good working condition.
Also I have some ebay wireless triggers for studio strobes (with jacks and PC sockets).
Using some PC cables I connected these triggers to universal hot shoe adapters.
With a SB-600 flash I have no problem with triggering.
With some older Vivitar and Sunpak flashes I did have problems until I have hacked the receivers (by bypassing a rectifier bridge between the trigger circuit and the output socket/jack).
I haven't managed to trigger the Nissin Di622 unit neither with the hacked or the non-hacked receivers.
So far it works normally on my camera or as an optical slave triggered by the TTL pre-flash.
I took it apart and soldered some wires to the test button contacts.
If I shorted these wires the flash would work.
But when I connected these wires to the (hacked + non-hacked) receivers, no flash at all.
Any ideas and suggestions?
