White Spots On Lens
Decided to do some spring cleaning on my lens as I was getting dust specks on my photos. Started with my 18-70mm lens as that is the one left on the D70. Only found one spec on the mirror & nothing on the sensor, plus cleaned the lens also, more dust then you want. Then I decided to check my 60mm macro lens. As anyone of you that have this lens know the actual lens is down the barrel of the lens and not easy to get at but my lens was coated with tiny white dots all the way down the barrel and on the lens it self. YUK. Don"t know if it was mold or water markks or what. Lens cloth, blower etc did nothing to remove the dots so I tried the Hoodwipes that I had from Hoodman & that did a great job at cleaning up the YUK on the lens. Anyone else seen this problem on your 60mm lens?
Hope to photograph as much as I can before my eyes & legs give way
