Re: Candid Street Photography

I think "candid" or "street" photography is creepy. I really do not care what you think of my opinions. Sneaking pics of unsuspecting people, for no reason other than to feed voyeuristic needs, regardless of the place, is just plain creepy. Find other things to photograph, or those who give you permission to use their likeness.

Paparazzi and the bottom feeding losers like those TMZ-types, who harass celebs on a daily basis, when they are going to dinner, living their private lives, or out with their families, also need a good boot to the head. By leaving your house, you give up the right to go somewhere, without being harassed, or followed everywhere you go? Please. TMZ-type Paparazzi are the lowest scumbags of the photo world.

I LOVE when I see Sean Penn, or someone like him, smashing the gear (or face) of some smart-mouthed jerk paparazzi-photog, who is invading their space and harassing them. Just because someone acts in a movie, or puts out a record, means they deserve to be harassed EVERYWHERE they go, by a gaggle of bottom-feeding morons? Please. On the red carpet. Fine. Going to dinner with family, leave people alone to live their lives in peace.

As far as being beaten up as a child, maybe 2-3 times, when I was 8-13 years old.

All I know is if some creepy guy was sneaking pictures of my wife, son, or daughter, at the mall, walking down the street, in a diner, etc., I would have a big problem with it. If you gave me attitude when I asked you to delete the pics, I would take matters into my own hands. Again, I could care less how you feel about it, or if you believe me. I guess you would have to try it with my family to see how I act outside of my computer room.

Having been a radio personality for 20+ years, I have had my share of experiences with creepy stalker types and other morons. My kids and wife are off limits when it comes to some loser's secret photography.

BTW, the bra picture is creepy and voyeuristic. I would imagine someone got a lot of mileage out of that pic, late at night.

I also think the Google "street view" of people's dwellings should be removed immediately. Aiding thieves, pervs, stalkers, and any other jacka$$ that wants to see how to sneak around your house is just asking for trouble. Nobody has the right to post pics of my family, or my house, on the internet, without our permission. I could care less what the "law" says. The law sucks in many ways.

I don't know why I am wasting my time with this, as I really don't care what people think of my opinions.
