Bug with my XSi or all XSi's?

Every lens behaves differently, but the t/stop effect of aperture reduction is more-noticeable on larger and more-complex lenses. It is most-noticeable on my 70-200 lens, where the difference between whole f/stops can be around 1/3 t/stop, particularly during long-exposures.

Yup,

I have basically decided that whether I like it or not, that's the way the camera is! I love everything else about the camera.

Where abouts in OZ are you from? I have brother that lives in Perth.

South coast WA. I've lived in Perth more than any other place.
