Has anyone found a workaround for the fact that Canon EOS utility

Have heard screen res could be reset to 1024 x 768 by unchecking
"display only viewable resolutions" but then desktop scrolls and
maybe other problems. Anyone done it?

Setting the screen resolution to 1024 x 768 and putting up with the scrolling is the workaround - and the only way, as far as I know, to run DPP on the 1024 x 600 screen. (Unlike EOS Utility, it installs ok but then won't run on 1024 x 600.)

I've been putting together a minimal collection of programs to cover the bare essentials for working away from home on the netbook. I don't plan to install Photoshop, and I do need a RAW converter for occasional use, so learning that DPP could be used with this workaround was good news for me.
