skills in photography and picture processing.

Any 1DMKIII or D700 can deliver blasting good pictures at A3. In my
books that is a relatively big print for most of applications and
clients I can think of. 20Mpix+ files are Frankenstein stuff, with
good capture and little cropping you can go to and above practical
limits of 99,5% of photographers, especially here.

that's your opinion, the ones who bought the d3x think different.

They think it's worth the money instead buying 5dII or the a900. Mind you, for the 8 grand you can get the a900 with several nice zeiss lenses! same goes for the 5dii, have video, you can buy one or 2 extra lenses for it, yet they still opt for the much more expensive d3x, guess they must be out of their minds....
