I have no idea. I haven't heard of any others, but then I'm not sure enough D3x bodies have been bought for there enough population to be long-term predictable even if we could survey the owners.

2) The amp noise looks very bad on the image you posted, did you
exaggerate it much

As I noted, I did put some Levels change into the file so that it would be more evident on the small sample. I believe my written statements about visibility are accurate.

It's not uncommon for me to take 3-5 minute exposures at
around iso 200-400 and even sometimes iso 100 exposures can be as
long as 3 minutes.

Based upon my experience so far, that's right near the boundary between usable and unusable. I'll try it with my assistant's D3x next weekend and see if there is sample variation.
