I agree here 100%. I'd pay the current asking price if there was a "special service window" for D3x owners. Heck, D3 owners by rights should get access to this same window. And no way should Nikon be shipping a D3x with anything other than a perfect sensor (no dead pixels), a perfectly aligned viewfinder and a perfectly clean body with no nicks, smudges dents or whatever.

Nikon want to charge First Class prices for Premium Economy tickets. It will be a very, very interesting three months or so. I chose a 300mm 2.8 this month over the D3x - I've got change left over for another D3 - which I don't need.
