D3+70-200VR+1.7 TC vs D90 (with 1.5 factor)+70-200VR at 300mm
I have a D3 with a 70-200VR....i just get a 1.7TC convertor this week...
Do you think images taken with a D90 (not D300) with a 70-200VR at 300mm (not 340mm) will be better (at the same ISO, speed, etc) ?
Also...what about the DOF and bokeh ? I found the DOF on the D3 (because of the COC) at 300mm often very thight...and the images are "soft"...
I can return my 1.7TC (400$) and get a D90 (1100$)...
(I am afraid of the answers !!! lollll)
