Yes, it IS funny how we have followed similar gear paths!!
Coming to Maine? DO stop while you're here. Boothbay area is gorgeous and there are lots of things to shoot/do if you come during tourist season.
Our winter has dumped on us already. We had over 2 feet of snow a few days ago and just got dug out yesterday!! We hope there aren't too many of these. Last winter we got dumped on every two or three days(November through February) and we're in no hurry to repeat that experience.
We too will head west in June, but should be back in town by late June/early July. Give us a ring when you're nearby! We'd love to see you.
