I would agree. A noise-free, highly detailed image that suffers a multitude of lens aberrations has bad IQ (wow, look how clear and detailed that purple fringing is!) However, noise, lens aberrations, diffraction limits...they all present themselves as a loss in detail. “Detail” isn't a separate attribute...it is the result from the combination of the various physical attributes of the camera. How can you separate out “detail” from noise or anything else?
