any difference between Extender EF 1.4x I & II?

To stack the mkI's you had to use a 12 mm extension tube which may or
may not result in a loss of infinity focus. See

Actually any 1.4x or 2x Extender will stack with a MkII 2x.

It's the MkII 2x which is different to allow this with a larger rear opening - so the 2x has to go on the lens with the other Extender behind and mounted on camera.
