D2x problem with AI-s lenses
I recently had a similar problem with a Nikon 135/2 AiS lens on a D3; The blades weren't closing fast enough, leading to gross overexposure. I took the lens off the body, worked the blade actuator lever a few times, after which it seemed to be normal, and then continued to use the lens which was now working normally. I did not see any sign of grease or oil on the blades, but they definitely were sluggish stopping down for a while. BTW, it was cool(50ºF) at the time.
