I'm no professional, so image quality isn't my most critical need. When I travel, I like to travel light. So the E510 and my bag of lenses stays home... and the TZ5 or LX2 comes along.

And since vacation shots are mostly done in good light, those cameras work fine. Plus, if you lose or drop it, or if it gets stolen, you aren't out a lot of cash.

Here are some examples of what I can get with my LX2 on vacation...

These little Panasonic cameras are great for things like this.
