HELP Please. 30D 1.4 TC and Sigma 50-500 suddenly overexposing
I thought I had a fungus problem when I started to get pale photos with my Sigma 50-500 lens so I sent it for repair. It has ended up in Japan as the Australian agents don't do repairs to this lens.
Now, when I went to use my 1.4 TC with my Tamron zoom, I have the same problem. The camera is overexposing with the TC but is OK with just the lens. If I use manual exposure (using the same settings as for the lens only) the exposure is OK.
Now I'm wondering if the problem is not fungus at all but some link between the camera and the TC, or the TC and the lens.
What a disaster. Any suggestions?
PS can't see any fungus on the TC
