5D2 AutoISO - why not 6400?

Hi

Reading the 5D2 manual (p58) I notice AutoISO goes from 100-3200 (unless in M, B or flash modes). Much like the 50D, AutoISO avoids the highest 'native' ISO setting on the camera (6400 in the case of the 5D2). Any ideas as to why? I'd be quite happy to shoot at 6400 with the 5D2 (that's one of its advantages), and likewise 3200 on the 50D, so why the limit?

Otherwise very happy with the 50D's (and 5D2's) much-improved AutoISO function!

Cheers,
gL
