I have to say that unless you're keen on shooting street in places where a quiter shutter might save you a fight (or unless you do PJ style weddings and the bride is jumpy) there seems to be little advantage. So on the bright side, second hand prices for M8.0 will be more affordable soon if you want to try biting that cherry - and aside from certain cosmetic and minor ergonomic differences, the IQ seems to be the same.

But as I've said to you before, you take great shots whatever you use!
