His way is correct

Output at the IMAGE level is different according to different people. Somebody only print their photo at 4x6; some other people will print it at poster size. The larger the photo the more important is the pixel level. If he look at IMAGE level, how big should the image be? 4x6? A4? A very large poster or at the size of large billboard? Since different people has different preference on image size, the best way to perform an review is look at the pixel level.
