EOS 5D MKII vs Nikon D700

Looking at dpreview's spec chart I made a quick list 5DMKII's main features in comparison with Nikon D700.

In favor of Canon:
21 megapixel sensor ( IQ and noise performance is unkown at this time)
slightly better finder (98%)
HD1080i Video
better kit lens (24-105 f/4L IS)
30fps refresh rate for LV (vs 14fps)
interchangeable focusing screen (but Nikon has on-demand grid lines)

In favor of Nikon
higher shooting speed 5 fps vs 4 (and up to 8)
51 selectable AF points with 15 cross type at f/5.6

45msec shutter lag compared to 73msec (140msec blackout time on 5DII a bit sluggish)
more sophisticated 1005 Zone 3D matrix metering vs 35 zone
20 RAW buffer vs 13
popup flash
better widenagle zoom (14-24 f/2.8G)

On paper Nikon looks like the camera with more critical features, speed and proven image quality, but 5DMKII's sensor might be a deal breaker if it turns out to have good per pixel sharpness and noise performance--we need to see the RAW files--but I had personally wished for a high-speed full-featured but full frame camera...
