A lot of of cars being made over and put into new backgrounds lately - with beautiful results - Ray is the master and here's my attempt at it, using my wife's 1975 beetle superbug as my "model".
C&C welcome

Nice job- the background and foreground look like it could be Ray's. I would bring out the car a little more, to match the colorfulness of the rest of the image, though.
kinda like this.

Thanks for the comments & the re-do - it surely looks more vibrant - great idea.
Yes, it's the same as what Ray uses - love it.
The visitor? - also great - but scary - like it.
Thanks again

Thanks Andre, The "visitor" was an attempt to inject a little humor--kind if a juxtaposition. I realize it didn't belong!!
The alligator was a shot from my month long trip to Florida, in February.
Also, If you intended the" Beetle" to look original--you nailed it!!

That sure was a bargain!! Looks pretty good for its age. I can remember when the Beetles were $1500 new!!! I doubt you could get a used Yugo for $1500 now., that is, if you could find one.

it sure is not like the pictures some of you guy's do, but it is the best I could do in in the time I had available. I really had a hard time finding a better background then the one I used here.
looking at the picture on my work monitor, that the colors are all off and the image is far to dark, I did this on my laptop and I think the calibration is totally off on that one.
