The pecker feeder
Sorry, I can't resist to name the subject this way. I'm learning from Bill & Darwin. lol
I have this problem with black bird always invading the feeder for my wood pecker, so when the storm split my bradford pear tree in halves I turn some of the bigger trunk to woodpecker feeder. Also the black bird can't feed on it since they can't hang on like the woodpeckers does.
I still use the seed & suet to fill-up the hole in the wood as shown in the picture.
Now I just need to position myself to take the photo.
And this is the tree that split.
BTW anybody can ID this white bird? It comes to feed once in a while.
