The frustration (ya gotta love it) of photography

Yesterday was my grandson's birthday and we had a party at Eagle Lake for him. I had the A700 and KM 28-75 set up for in the shade, taking birthday party photo's when I looked and saw the following coming towards me. I quickly changed to the 100-300 APO but did not have time to set the camera up for the very different shooting and exposure situation. I just started shooting.

They aren't very good but at least I got them. What was fun was the Ospre flew to my right and behind some pine trees. He eventually reappeared directly over us and I had time for only the last photo.
The Ospre was carrying it's lunch. An Eagle Lake trout. And a nice one too.

The Minolta 100-400 APO was scheduled for delivery today.
It did come today. It's not the best but it will help a lot.
I went to the bathroom for a moment and missed the delivery. ;-(

I swear he didn't knock and I know fell he didn't ring the doorbell. I was fit to be tied. Now I have to go pick it up in the morning.

I'm pretty sure the lady at the post office will tell the driver to "Ring The Freeking Door Bell From Now On !!!"
I took another pill and I'm going out to find a deer now.
Comments and suggestions are welcome.
Thanks for looking.

My albums are here.
