A streetportrait can be interactive or non-interactive.

I searched the internet for a good definition of the term "streetportrait"
but instead I found more questions about it, such as:

what is the definition of a portrait?

-- what is the definition of a street portrait?

-- do shots of people working on the street count?

-- does "people" mean the same thing as "portrait"?

-- can street photography be done in a rural setting?

-- how much of the surrounding context needs to show? how much is too much? how much is - - --too little?

-- what is and what is not "street" and what is and what is not "portrait"?

-- what is the difference between street portraits and street photography?

-- how obvious does the street have to be?

-- where do "suburban" shots (ie - malls, campuses, parks) fit in?

-- do street markets qualify?

-- do street portraits have to be taken within a certain focal range? what is too close and what is - -- too far?

-- does a street portrait require that the image shows interaction between the "street" and the-- ---person?

-- does an image of someone "lost to the world around them" qualify?

-- does the person's face have to be clearly seen to qualify?

-- aren't street portraits merely photos of people taken on the street?

-- what is the difference between street life and street portraits?

-- does an image of a street with no people (but with evidences of people) qualify ?

-- what about extreme close-ups with no context of the street?

-- do shots of friends and family taken on the street qualifiy?

-- are candid images of people on the streets street portraits?

-- what about images with extensive photoshopping that goes beyond color, hue, contrast,------- ----saturation, sharpness, etc.?
