Why can't micro 4/3 still be an SLR system?

They've cut the flange back distance in half, but even with approximately 20mm, a reflex mirror ought to fit. I know people are excited about EVF cameras, but an optical (TTL) viewfinder might still be a nice thing to have for a while longer?

I wouldn't call myself technically inclined -- there's probable a good reason why this can't be done... idunno...

Any thoughts?
