Z812IS or Pana. FZ8?
Aug 3, 2008
Seems like Kodak doesn't get as much respect as some of the other camera manufacturers. This seems to be what is making my search for a comparison between these cameras difficult. I currently have a FZ8, but am not real happy with it primarily because of it's "feel". I played with a Kodak Z812IS today at a local store, and like the feel of it much more. If you can convince me that it is every bit as good a camera s the Panny, I'll get it.
So....what will I lose if I dump the FZ8 in favor of the Z812IS? I know that I'm in the Kodak Forum, but trust you folks can give me a honest answer. By the way, I do have a Canon DSLR outfit, but want a single, longer zoomed, camera for when the entire bag of DSLR stuff is not appropriate.
Thanks
