You clearly have NO idea about noise. Every single small sensor captures noisy RAW data. If you think that a 1/1.7" sensor can capture a low-noise RAW image at ISO 800, you are fooling yourself. They are ALL noisy. DSLRs, too, are much noisier than you think they are. NR is all around us, and some of us have weak right hemispheres and can't discern the unnatural look of NR'ed images.

You are not very good at sarcasm, so I can't tell if you really think that the G9's output is impressionistic or not, but the G9's output is much closer to the RAW than the Fuji's. The Fuji's is more like an artist's rendition; and artist that you can't change.
