Flash for macro (bugs and flowers)
I'm looking at the Canon Speedlite 580EX II for flash photography which will include family photos and that kind of stuff for which I'm sure it's well suited. I'm wondering if it's a good flash for closeup work such as bugs and flowers? For instance, if I'm using a 60 mm macro lens and I"m 6 inches from a bee can this flash give me an accurate exposure?
Or is that what a ring flash is for?
