Exactly. No need to be pedantic.

The issue is that the lower the light, the less capable the one with the higher pixel count will be. At some point the smaller photosites will stop capturing any useful information while the larger ones will continue on. Once you hit that point and the extreme color shifts start and the noise floor overwhelms the image there's not really much that scaling is going to do to salvage things.
