Why the AF button on K10D?

Canon UI is so unlike Pentax UI I don't see how they could be compared.

I was unaware that you could adjust ISO by holding down the OK button and turning the front e-dial. I tried it, but my ISO does not change. I have the camera in Av mode, and ISO is set on Auto.
