Interesting that you like the lighter one better. Hmm... I don't know whether to interpret this as a difference in tastes or just a difference in monitor calibration. Obviously, I was dissatisfied with the 1st one because I did it with extra whitening and less contrast. I decided it's not what I like best. In any case, your feedback is much appreciated. I will keep it in mind as I move forward. My workflow will always be a thing in flux, I suppose.

My fancy equipment does a great job of capturing reality. Fortunately, I can fix that with Photoshop.
