Best D3 setting for motorcycle race...metering, servo, AF etc..
I am shooting a historical motorcycle meet on the weekend which will have riders doing a couple of laps around the circuit. I will be close to the action and using a D3 with 24-70 f/2.8 combo.
My question is regarding the best setting in regards to the AF. I think using the Dynamic AF, 51 points with 3D tracking on will be the best so I can ensure it will follow the bike I am shooting.
I will be in continuous servo mode
Is there any other suggestions for this type of situation.
Also metering, I suspect 3D matrix would be best and spot focus and single servo mode and spot metering for the still shots.
Only had the D3 a week and coming from Canon I am just getting my head around the settings.
Any help is appreciated.
