a model on show....
Till May 31st 7pm the HP B9180 is selling in a certain store here at the same price as the HP B8850 with the three-year garantee thrown in - because they want to get rid of it (the HP 9180) as it is their last model and has been on show for - who knows how long? They are not going to sell the 9180 any more.
I'm finding it difficult to decide between the two - the "9" is good for paper thickness but according to
the "8" has other advantages.
But MOST OF ALL can anyone tell me if it is unwise to buy a model that has been on show (though NEVER switched on - it has just been sitting there) for - as I said - who knows how long?
They say it is in perfect condition and anyway it is garanteed...
Not important for making a choice, maybe, but strange also that for the 9180 one needs only a minimum memory of 256 Mo but for the 8850 one needs 512 Mo minimum...I wonder why?
