Went across Peru and Bolivia in the end of October of the last year.

Took in a trip following photo-equipment:
EOS 40D
EF-S 10-22mm
EF-S 17-85mm
EF-S 60mm
EF 100-400mm
Extender EF 1.4x II
Manfrotto 694 + 234RC

Chose from the following

I advise you to take telelens for birding !!!
And with two cameras it would be more convenient!
