Help! Polarizing Filter On The 14mm II Lens

Recently I bought a 14mm II L lens which is intended to be my work horse because I just take too many landscape shots...oops!...there is no such thing as too many....I just like taking these shots.

Problem! The lens won't take a front filter. UV? No problem! I don't need it anyway! Polarizer? I need this on occasion. Canon provided a gelatin filter holder at the back. The Samy's rep told me that I have to buy a filter and cut it myself.
So my questions are...

1. What brand of polarizer filter should I buy?

2. Who can cut it the proper way? I can't! I am not that good. Is there a place where they cut it precision style so it fit exactly in the holder?
3. Is there a special case for this filter when I don't need to use it?

4. Does anybody have sample shots using the 14mm II lens with and without the filter?

If it's impossible to have a practical solution to this, I may end up buying a 16-35mm L lens for those shots that need a polarizer.

Thanks in advance!
