In a rush - Nikon 35mm/f2 or Sigma 30mm/f1.4 or better?

Hello all, been reading your threads for a few years and thank you for all the info and entertainment. Some stuff just makes you laugh.

Here's my dilemma, it seems I like to shoot without flash, (maybe b/c I'm not good at it) but I loved taking low light pics with the 50mm/1.8 but was a bit long for indoor shooting. I ended up returning it.

The 18-200 is great except for the times I'm indoor. So I'm trying to get a wider low light lens that will work well out of the box. planning on going to B&H and pick one up today or tomorrow.

However been reading that Sigma is great after it's been calibrated because of front focusing issues? I wouldn't mind waiting to have it fixed for my D200, unfortunately I'm going on vacation this Saturday.

So it might have to be the 35mm/f2, any thoughts?
