Venus IV vs. Venus III vs. DiGiC III vs. DiGiC ISO comparisons

First of all, this is NOT a scientific comparison test or anything conclusive. I just thought it would be fun to take pictures of the same object using four different cameras using four different image processors. They are:

Venus IV: DMC-LZ8
Venus III: DMC-FX33
DiGiC III: Canon PowerShot G9
DiGiC: Five-year old original Digital Rebel DSLR, with EF 35mm f/2.0 lens

I used this watch as the test:

... then the center of each image was 100% cropped and compared. The G9 has ISO 80, and FX33 has ISO 1250, but those were not used. Each picture below is 1280x1024, so a bit of horizontal and vertical scrolling may be necessary unless you're one of those lucky sods with 24"+ LCDs!

Take them for what they're worth, and draw your own conclusions!
