D300 build vs D200
Got my D300 today and I can says that it is better than the D200 in nearly every way (operationally faster and the LCD has to be seen to be believed). Except, it might just be me, but I have the feeling that the build quality is slightly poorer in some areas.
For example, the CF card door seems to be made of slightly flimsier plastic. The same applies to the pop-up fash, which on my d300 doesn't sit flush against the body and is slightly wobbly. Also the on-off switch doesn't feel as sturdy neither does the QUAL-WB-ISO dial.
This was my initial feeling when I first picked up the camera. There is just something that feels really rock solid about the D200!
