Help with shooting inside a hair salon
I've been asked by a friend to shoot her and two other ladies inside their hair salon as a promotional photo to be put in a small local paper. Although her request was "just a headshot of the three of us", I would love to do something creative and more environmental. My lighting gear includes two AlienBee B800's, large softboxes and the 42" reflector, although I would like my gear and setup time to be minimal. No hotshoe flash. The interior of the hair salon has a flood of flourescent lights, lot of windows but it will be night time.
My initial thought was to bring one B800 on a stand, just bare with 7" reflector and bounce off a side wall or the wall behind me. I would pose them maybe around one of the work stations or the front desk.
Any other lighting ideas or examples you can share of something similar?
Thanks for your inspiration.
