oddly enough, I needed to replace an A23 battery. Tried the local Calumet, no luck, tried the Staples across the street and they had it. Duracell 21/23 12v MN21/A23. Other names for it: Energizer A23; I.E.C. 3LR50; NEDA 1811A; RadioShack 23A, EL12, GP23A

Auto parts store may have it too since it's used for key fobs.
