I think the uncropped panorama is more dramatic
they are both excellent :-)

Yep, you're right about one thing though, it does have a lot more
impact after you cropped it.

You could get some good Panos of the Bay Bridge from around Pac Bell Park if you want.

Did you see those Cargo Cranes come in this AM??? There's a story about it with impressive pictures at http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/news/a/2002/05/01/cranes.DTL&type=generic .

The Marin Headlands are the last exit in Marin County just as you
approach the Golden Gate Bridge. You just take a right, head up
the hill, and there are a couple of pull-over places to take
pictures, depending on how high you want to go.
