D300 flowers at ISO 100 to 3200 50mm 1.8
Allan Gardens on an overcast and snowy December day in Toronto. High ISO photos have low NR set. Lower ISO photos were taken with flash and have no NR set.Fine jpeg from D300 and 50 mm 1.8 lens.
The ISO 100 shots are totally acceptable and it will be my base ISO. Even shots at ISO 3200 are great and that will be my upper ISO except "in extremis" where otherwise a photo would not be possible.
The D300 is a quantum leap up from the D200 at higher ISOs. The 50 mm 1.8 lens is a stellar performer on this camera. You can check out a few of today's photos at the blog search URL.
You will also see D200 photos and some Seasonal pics from from last year later in the series. It's a great camera too just not as versatile.
