$50 for a 128mb memory stick

funny but the rebate form says the rebate is valid if you purchase memory stick for $64.95. Looks like they are trying to fool someone!

This is what it says on the rebate form
"

To qualify for rebate, purchase price of the 128MB Memory Stick (eCOST.com Part #. 1027607) must be $64.95 or higher.
"
eCOST.com offers the Sony 128MB Memory Stick for $63.99 before a
$14 mail-in rebate. Snap it up if you like it.

I think the purchase price is $63.99 and then you mail in for the rebate of $14.00 which then makes the memory stick end up costing you only $49.99. At least that is the way I read it.

I hope they're not pulling anything shady!

I plan to order the HVL-F1000 flash from them tonight. I have ordered a stick of 128 (Sandisk) and everything went fine though.

I've bought from eCost.com before and been satisfied. HOWEVER: Please be sure you look closely at shipping charge (one fee) and handling charge (a separate fee). Since they identify these as separate fees, it can significantly increase the price compared to other outlets.

Just a word of caution...

Actually, the rebate says $63.95 and not $64.95

CompUSA has the Lexar 128MB stick onsale for $59.99 this week.

You can if you like buy the Lexar MS reader for $19.99 and then get a $20 rebate for buying both if you are lucky enough to get the reabate. I got the last rebate for a lexar CF card I bought last summer from compUSA. And to my suprise I sent it in 1 day after the "Must be postmarked by" day and I still got it.

So in this deal you get a 128mb stick and reader for $60+ tax if you are near a compusa that is.
