I agree. There is something with the Canon blogger that presses to
diss the D300 in this forum. Despite the rest of the photos being
posted and the reviews that are starting to come out, all showing the
high IQ of the D300.

If you don't actually have anything technical or helpful to contribute to the discussion, maybe you could refrain from clogging up the thread, like you did with the other one earlier today?

Some people here are interested in noise at ISO 800 and above, can't afford the detail loss that NR causes, and could care less if the camera has a C or an N engraved on it. For us, the comparison is useful.

Honestly, I am quite pleased with the IQ my D300 is producing at
every ISO. The images Arash Hazeghi has provided to support his
arguement that the 20D producing superior IQ are truly bad. However,
in the process of learning my new camera, I have shot about 700
images... day and night, inside and outside, in every possible
lighting condition, and I have not been able to produce a single
image as bad as Arash Hazeghi's.

Good for you, we're all happy you like your camera. Do you have samples comparing the 20D/30D/40D to the D300?

Returning to the OP's question, the samples included here are all from scenes with rather high DR. Can we see a comparison done under more uniform lighting conditions? The examples linked to earlier by sandyb ( http://picasaweb.google.com/gseitz/5DD30012D3001440D ) seem to be from such a scene, and the differences are far less obvious.
