A lazy way to shoot a NYC sunset

A lazy way to shoot a NYC sunset.

The weather here in NYC has been very brisk the past couple of days. Wind gust up to 40mph have been reported and things have been flying off of some skyscrapers hitting pedestrians. At the same time, the skies and cloud formations over the city have been very picturesque. Perfect conditions for a sunset image.

Not wanting to freeze in the wind chill....

1) Set up camera a few hours before sunset

2) Set intervalometer for every 15 seconds

3) Set timer to go off approx 30 min before sunset

4) Load up a 4 GB card

Setup - D200, nikkor 70-200, iso 100, raw, awb, AP matrix metering

And the result of this lazy way to shoot a NYC sunset from the past 2 days
