As I said, with 3D af tracking the meter does NOT follow the initially selected focus point. With normal group dynamic AF it does.

That is true and that is for reasons of predictability for the user.

If you use matrix metering with AF-S and auto area AF, then the bias is correctly placed on the automatically selected AF point

The is unlike Canon cameras where you have to specifically link the
spot metering to the AF sensor through a custom function.

I said that already, what is the relevance of repeating it?
