I love my E-1, but side by side with the E-3......

You're right, the E-1 is a classic...

Nothing can replace it, but the E-3 will be considered a worthy successor in due course... it will just take a little time for this to become accepted, common knowledge.

Olympus got it just about as right as they possibly could with the E-3, I'm just hoping they can keep the firmware team employed a little longer to add one or two nice additional features... like an IS mode for tripod use, and IS for legacy lenses.

There's nothing wrong with the E-3 colour tonality, and Dynamic Range is sorted - even noise performance is satisfactory, Olympus have done an incredible job with this sensor, imho.

Kind Regards

Brian
