Does anyone know where are the best deals at in Japan and HK for a
CoolPix 950? I may be dropping by next month.

Due to popularity, it's difficult to find good deals on the 950 in Japan.
Average street price is abot 95,000 Yen, or $785 at current exchange
rates. You'll be exempt from local sales tax if you show your passport.
Try the big camera places in Shinjuku, Tokyo (Sakuraya, Bik Camera, and
Yodobashi Camera) They carry everything imaginable in digital cameras
and accessories. You can also try going store to store in Akihabara.
Usually, you can talk the price down a few yen.
Buy the Japanese model, unless you want to pay a premium for the English
export model. You can get English instructions from Nikon's website, and
the software is not very usefull anyway.
