yes, but what I'm wishing for goes beyond that. I'm talking about things like the build quality, the style, the feel, the design of the knobs and dials, etc.

I can't quite put it into words, but those old classics just have a true "camera" feel to them. There is just something reassuring about pressing a big chrome plated shutter button, lifting and turning an ISO/shutter speed dial made from real metal with numbers actually etched into them, looking at an honest to god + - exposure needle.

I guess i'm just being nostalgic, I really miss by old 35mm SLR.
