Aperture performance/Library size
Is there anything I could do to improve Aperture performance? I have about 20000-30000 pictures (all Nikon RAW, 10M-15M each) in the library all stored as referenced files on an external drive. The Aperture library file itself is stored on the internal HD and is about 20-30G. I have iMac Inter Dual Core (the very first generation), 2 Ghz with 2G of RAM.
I see the wheel of death way too often...
P.S. Is that true that there is no disk de-fragmentation for Macs????
